Individual
admission letters are being sent to the
successful candidates through email. You can
respond by email to: “coordinator@southasianuniversity.org”
Successful
candidates should confirm acceptance of this
admission offer by Email to: (coordinator@southasianuniversity.org)
latest by 5.00 P.M. (IST), on August 1,
2011. Please note that seats in the
University’s courses are limited, and should you
fail to confirm your acceptance by this
date/time, the offer of admission will
automatically stand withdrawn.
In case you
accept the offer, you should please remit
(non-refundable) Admission Fee of US $
100 or Indian Rs. 5000, in cash, or through
telegraphic transfer (TT), or through a bank
draft drawn in favor of ‘South Asian
University’, New Delhi, latest by August 1,
2011. Bank details for TT are given below.
The process of
completing admission/registration formalities
has commenced at SAU administrative premises
from Thursday, July 21, 2011 in order to ensure
an effective beginning of teaching on Monday,
August 1, 2011. Location map of SAU is
available on University’s website.
Successful candidates are required to present
themselves IN PERSON at the SAU administrative
premises in New Delhi for completing
registration/admission formalities on any
working day during July 21 to August 01, 2011.
Registration with late fee of US $ 20 (Indian
Rupees 1000) will be permitted up to August 08
2011. No registration will be permitted after
August 8, 2011.
The list of
documents that you must bring with you is
enclosed. You must not come to SAU unless you
have all originals of your qualifying degree
certificates/final mark sheets, on the basis of
which, you have been offered admission to this
course.
At the time of
admission/registration, you will also be
required to pay the following fees by
cash or through cheque/bank draft drawn in
favour of ‘South Asian University’ New Delhi.

US $ 540
For subsequent
semesters, tuition fee would be US$ 440 per
semester, payable at the beginning of each
semester.
The University will
offer scholarships/partial or full waivers and
other financial supports for which the SAU will
invite applications/requests soon after the
session begins. If you are interested in
applying for these scholarships/fee waivers,
please bring along with you proof of your family
income (salary slips of your parents/bank
statements, copies of income tax returns, etc.);
these documents will be necessary to consider
your application for financial support.
Scholarships
Details
While sending
your acceptance of this admission offer (by July
20, 2011), please also let us know if you
require hostel accommodation
(Hostel Form). Please note that hostel
room charges will be @ US $10 per month and
would have to be paid for the first semester in
advance at the time of admission/registration.
Meals/Food charges will be extra. It may not be
possible to offer hostel facilities to local
students from Delhi/NCR.

examination etc. or their equivalent
examination, along with one photocopy of
each mark sheet.
